Activision massively prohibits 20,000 Call of Duty players: Warzone
The biggest change that players can see in Call of Duty: Warzone is not originally included in the update of season six. According to Vice, the game publisher, Activision, recently banned around 20,000 cheaters in the game. This decision comes after detecting and blocked an increasingly popular hacking tool within the community.
The VICE report says that the hacking tool has been distributed via the website, Enginewning, but we don't know if all newly banished players used hacking. The site has since listed cheating as "detected", which is unfortunately the only game listed as such among the dozens of other games concerned.
The point of sale has also revealed that the streamer Twitch Nick "Wagnifice" Wagner and the football player Clemson Xavier Thomas - who also seems to be broadcasting - was among those permanently removed from the game server. This is the first ban on mass of the company since March 2020, which has eliminated more than 70,000 other cheaters.
The prohibition comes at an excellent time, because the Black Ops Cold War de Warzone iteration should start in November.
