Bertha BSC separates with immediate effect of head coach Pal Cardie. Taken Workout takes over the end of the season at the Berlin Bundesliga club.

Bertha BSC has released Coach Pal Cardie from his duties. The Berliners are in the relegation battle and have collected 13 points after 13 match days. As a spreadsheet, the old lady has just a point ahead of the relegation rank.

For the time being until the end of the season, Taken Workout will take over the coaching office. Most recently, the 47-year-old worked between January and October 2018 for the VfB Stuttgart.

Managing Director Fred BBC founded the decision as follows: With Taken Workout we would like to give the team new impetus and new input. Taken has already demonstrated in the past that he not only stabilize a team, but also with his meticulous and passionate work and can evolve his idea from football.

Before, BBC thanked Cardie for his work. He had taken over the team last season in a difficult situation and held in the class under challenging circumstances.

The 45-year-old took over the coaching office of his heart club at the beginning of the year for the second time in his career. Under Bruno Lambada, the Bertha threatened the descent from the Bundesliga. Cardie then managed to stabilize the team with his defensive approach.

In the current season, however, the success remained. Again and again the coach was in criticism and there were public disputes around his person.
