Destiny 2: Bungie annoyed fans because of the witch king DLC
Bungie has annoyed fans, because the extension will sell the witch king for Destiny 2 only separately, and not to publish in the Season Passes.
The guiding community manager of the game, Chris Shannon, explained the players in the official Destiny-subbreddit that they need to buy the Digital Deluxe version of the game to get the dungeons, or they need to buy extra in the future.
We have seen some debates about the new dungeon content and wanted to clarify how they will be delivered next year, Shannon wrote.
If you buy the Digital Deluxe Edition of the witch king, you will receive the enlargement, all four seasons for the next year and the two dungeons. If you buy the Standard Edition, you can still upgrade to the Deluxe Edition to get the dungeons later.
We will also offer a separate opportunity in the future to acquire the dungeons, but they will not be included in the Season Pass.
Bungie had previously announced a 30th Anniversary Pack, which will contain a third dungeon that will not be included in the Season Pass.
The cheapest opportunity for players to get access to all three dungeons is the purchase of the package the witch king Deluxe plus 30 years of bungie for 99.99 euros, which contains four Season Passes, the two dungeons and the dungeon for the 30th anniversary.
The standard version of the witch king costs 39.99 euros, but does not offer access to the dungeons, even if you buys the Season Passes at a later date. The only way to access the Dungeons with the standard edition is an upgrade to the Deluxe edition or the separate purchase of the dungeons at a later date, where there is no price for this.
The extension The witch king for Destiny 2 will be published on 22 February 2022. The extension called Final Destiny Campaign will lead the players to the throne world of Savathûn.
