Niantic returns to change the distances in Pokémon Go

A few weeks ago, Niantic reversed the changes that had been implemented in Pokémon Go as a result of the pandemic, a decision that bothered its users. Soon after they announced that they would not be changing anything and that they would create a special group dedicated to listening to feedback from fans.

In a series of tweets, Niantic shared a brief news in which they mention that the minimum distance required to interact with the Poképaradas and gyms would be 80 meters. Similarly, they mentioned that they have been listening to all the feedback of the fans and will have more details for sharing the next week.

Specifically, it will be next September 1 when these developers reveal to us exactly what they are planned for the future of Pokémon Go, although neither do you expect novelties so big. Actually, these ads will be related to the results obtained by the Panel.
