Aliens Fireteam Elite: How to unlock the Horde

Aliens Fireteam Elite has finally landed and it's one of the most rapid and action-rich games that we have played for some time. The game could be compared to Gears of War with Xenomorphs, with a pinch 4 Dead in the mixture. One of the best things to games like Gears of War is the Horde mode that allows players to make endless waves of enemies to achieve as many points as possible and to survive until the end. The Horde mode is also available in Aliens Fireteam Elite, and here you will learn how to unlock it.

To unlock the Horde mode

The Horde mode is in the section Campaigns of the menu. To access the menu, press the Start button on your controller to open the menu in which you select your next mission, change your equipment, manage your team, etc. There are four different campaigns in Aliens Fireteam Elite with each 3 missions in them. Once all four campaigns are completed, players will unlock the Horde mode that allows them to compete against a wave of Xenomorphs in an action-charged carcade in the arcade style.

If you play the game mainly for the Horde mode, you do not have to worry, as you can jump sooner than later in the mode. The campaign is rather short and focuses on re-playing with friends, as the game is greatly aligned with the multiplayer aspect. If you want to play the campaign just to get the Horde mode, it should take only about 4-8 hours, especially when you play casual in the difficulty level that is easiest in the game. While successes / trophies in the game require a higher level of difficulty, this is not the case when unlocking the Horde mode. Once you have completed the last mission, the mode is activated.

Aliens Fireteam Elite is now available for PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
